The Professional Brewer’s Curriculum:

  • Introduction to Coffee: Understand how origin, processing, and roast levels dictate your brewing strategy.

  • Manual Brewing Mastery: Hands-on practice with industry-standard drippers (V60, Kalita, etc.) to achieve clarity and balance.

  • Intermediate Manual Brewing: Master the advanced variables—water temperature, agitation, and pour techniques—to troubleshoot and refine your brew.

  • The Physics of Extraction: Learn to use refractometers (TDS) and brewing charts to ensure consistency and professional-grade results.

  • Sensory Calibration: Develop your palate to identify 'under-extracted' versus 'over-extracted' profiles and adjust your technique accordingly."
